PEC controller compressor control system

The starting point of the Presscon PEC controller is to deliver constant discharge pressure and flow as efficiently as possible. The controller does this by looking at the flow rate that is taken, by taking into account the compressed air pressure and by knowing when a compressor is most energy efficient.

By knowing as accurately as possible how much compressed air is needed, it is also possible to control the compressor very precisely and to reduce or even virtually eliminate the difference between the desired compressed air and intake pressure. The PEC controller can be used for almost any type of compressor. For example, the system can work with compressors that are switched on or off at a fixed power, have a variable frequency or operate on multiple speed steps.

The Presscon PEC controller takes into account issues such as late running time, power consumption at zero load, prohibited resonance frequencies, operating hours and important factors that influence energy consumption. Because each compressor has its own PEC compressor controller, it is also possible to control multiple compressors that are located at different locations, but belong to the same compressed air network.
