Protection heating system from oxidation
It is important to maintain the pH of the water in your heating system. A pH value that is too low causes the iron of the heating pipes to be affected. A dosing pump with pH control keeps the water continuously around pH value 9.
Partial flow filter against heating system pollution
Loose iron particles (which have not yet started to rust) cause water pollution. Due to the continuous flow of water through the heating system, wear and tear occurs on the pipes, causing small iron particles to end up in the water. This is called magnetite pollution. By means of a partial flow filter with magnet, we capture the magnetite from the system.
In a normal operation, this will be the main contamination to the heating system, but during a renovation it can be more serious pollution, such as soil and dredge ending up in the heating system. In that case, we collect the remaining contamination with a filter bag (from 25 to 0.5 microns).
The operation of an expansion system
As an important part of the heating system, it is of course important to also protect the buffer tank properly. Presscon uses HPSA nitrogen generators (High Performance Pressure Swing Absorption) developed in-house to preserve various water systems, such as heating and cooling installations. This means that the buffer tanks, the expansion tanks, and the entire heating or cooling systems are protected against rust formation, oxidation, and/or explosion hazards.
